Soda-water makers appeared in Argentina in the early 1900s, picking up the bottles from homes & restaurants daily, then filling them up. This bottle is an original from pre-1940’s Argentina (yep, this is a real McCoy—the neck of the bottle is stamped with the date 1933). And although this bottle has retired from dispensing the fizzes, it looks great perched on a bar cart or shelf. Talk about a conversation starter.
The vintage bottle is decorative and should not be used for food storage.
